The draws for the K3 Dental Yorkshire Leagues Knock-Out Cup, the Whitworth Cup and the T20 Blast and Plate competitions were held at Shaw Lane Sports Club, Barnsley last night.

In the K3 Dental Cup, holders Castleford have a bye in the first round, along with the other top four clubs in last year's YCSPL and YPLN Premier Divisipn tables, and are away in the second round to either Easingwold or Hull Zingari. Barnsley Woolley Miners progressed furthest of the YCSPL clubs last year, and they host their 2023 semi-final conquerers, York, in the second round at Shaw Lane. A first round highlight is the first meeting between Wakefield Thornes and Shiregreen, at Field Lane; and there are two other all-YCSPL first round draws at Cleethorpes, who host Whitley Hall, and at Elsecar, where the visitors are Cawthorne.

In the Whitworth Cup, last year's beaten finalists Sheffield Collegiate 2nds face Championship new boys Ackworth; 2022 winners Hallam make the trip to Chrurch Fields to play Whiston Parish Church; and there is an interesting-looking tie at Melton Road, where 2022 finalists Sprotbrough host Wath.

in the T20 Blast, holders Barnsley Woolley Miners are in a group with Shiregreen and Wakefield Thornes, whilst Doncaster Town, runners-up in the last two seasons, will visit Washfield Road, Treeton, where Appleby Frodingham are the other visitors. As there are only eleven teams in this year's competition, Sheffield Collegiate and Cawthorne will play a 'best of two games' double-header at Abbeydale. If the sides win one game each, the result will be decided on net run rate.

Last year's beaten finalists in the T20 Plate, Wath, host a group including former YSPL T20 winners Hallam, and Rotherham Town, whilst Ackworth host Darfield and Oughtibridge. Twice winners Aston Hall host a tough group including Sprotbrough and Wickersley Old Village.
