Clubs' bulletin no 11 - 24 June

Clubmark

There are currently a significant number clubs in Division 3 upwards with outstanding action on Clubmark accreditation. Clubmark accreditation is a requirement for all clubs in these divisions, and the absolute deadline for action to be completed is 30 June. If you are in any doubt about your Clubmark accreditation status, please contact Gareth Davis as soon as possible.

Overseas players

The recently introduced Administration Rule 38.ii allows, in certain limited circumstances, for a club’s second team overseas player to be redesignated as the first team overseas player. If your club wish to take advantage of this rule, please first check with either the Compliance Manager or another league official.

Play-Cricket update

It is important that clubs ensure that juniors over 13-years old are registered with their own online Play-Cricket accounts or are attached to a parent account with the orange ‘TMP 13+’ tag as in Rule 29. Any junior player with a grey ‘TMP’ tag is not attached to a parent. Please ensure that registrations comply with the above before 30 June.

Player survey

The League's player survey has now been open for just six days, and we have already received 226 responses. We would like to thank all who have taken the trouble to respond. In addition to the questions we posed, we have had some really interesting and useful comments. Please ensure that your club’s players are aware, and encourage them to respond. Please note that the survey is for players only. It will be open until 10 July.

Teas at Mexborough Athletic

We have been advised by the chairman at Mexborough Athletic that due to circumstances beyond the club’s control they can regrettably no longer provide teas for Saturday fixtures. The club hope that this will be just a temporary issue, and they will still provide drinks, and teas for officials.
