Online Safeguarding course
The ECB have launched their new online safeguarding training courses which provide an opportunity for club and league officials to undertake safeguarding training relevant to their role. Please see http://www.yorkshirecb.com/page/clubs--leagues/safeguarding/online-safeguarding-courses-18620/ to find out details of the courses. These courses replace the ECB Safeguarding Young Cricketers (SYC) course, which has now been discontinued.

Pitch and outfield markings at the start of the season
Captains are reminded that when completing markings at the start of the season, they should mark according to how the pitch actually behaves, and the standard of the outfield as it is, and not make allowances for the difficulties encountered with ground preparation due to the weather. The League will make any necessary allowances when looking at the overall picture at the end of the season.
