Clubs' bulletin no 15 of 2023 - 8 September 

 

The 3rd YCSPL Annual General Meeting will take place in the Griffin Suite, Shaw Lane Sports Club, Shaw Lane, Barnsley S70 6HZ on Wednesday 15 November 2023 at 7.00pm. 

 

Any proposals from clubs for rule changes or nominations for Board or committee positions, should be sent to Roger Pugh by 29 September. 

 

Full meeting documentation, including the agenda, accounts, officers’ reports, proposals for rule changes, and Board & committee nominations, will be issued to clubs by 20 October. 

 

 

Earlier in the season we asked you to let us know who wished to receive general YCSPL communications, such as this bulletin. A number of clubs have responded, and we have set up a mailing list accordingly. But there are a lot of clubs from whom we have not received a response. There will be a number of important communications over the next couple of months, for example, concerning the AGM, the dinner and 2024 fixtures, so please review who in your club should receive these communications and let us know by emailing Roger Pugh. 

 

 

This Saturday, 9 September, the YCSPL champions, Sheffield Collegiate, will play Castleford CC at Saville Park, Castleford (11.00 start), in the semi-final of the play-offs. We wish them all the very best, and hope that they will be well-supported on the day.
