Clubs' bulletin no 16 - 12 August 

 

Congratulations to Aston Hall CC who beat Bawtry and Driffield in the Area Finals last Sunday and will now represent our league in the Regional finals, to be held at Elsecar CC on Sunday 28 August. Aston Hall will face Ribblesdale Wanderers in the first semi-final at 10.00. 

 

 

Thank you to all those who took the time to attend the captains’ this week. Feedback from the meeting is now being produced and will be published over the next week. 

 

 

A course has been booked for Tuesday 11th October 2022 - 6pm at Phoenix Sports & Social Club. Anyone who wishes to attend should book using this link - https://booking.ecb.co.uk/d/t9q9d4. 

 

 

It has been brought to our attention that some players in the Senior Section are smoking and vaping on the field of play. This is not acceptable and must cease forthwith. It is not the image we want for our league, or an example we want to set for younger players. 

 

 

The YCSPL T20 Blast finals will be held this Sunday, 14 August 2022, at the Al-Murad Stadium, Elsecar CC, Armroyd Lane, Elsecar, Barnsley S74 8ES. All are welcome! 

 

Car parking will be available in the car park on Armroyd Lane. Refreshments will be on sale for spectators from 9.00, there will be a bar-b-que from lunchtime and the bar will be open. 

 

The programme for the day is: 

 

10.00 – first semi-final – Cawthorne v Doncaster Town 

13.15 – second semi-final – Barnsley Woolley Miners v Cleethorpes 

16.30 – final
