Clubs' bulletin No 2 - 18 March
Club administration. Clubs are reminded to ensure their players register their Play-Cricket accounts - juniors must be registered in accordance with League Administrative Rule 29. Online overseas player registration forms are available on the League website League forms page and must be completed for all overseas players.
Cricket ball payments. All clubs have now been invoiced for the season’s cricket balls, which will be available for collection at the pre-season meeting (see below). Payment must be made to the treasurer by BACS by 31 March.
ECB General Conduct Regulations and Anti-Discrimination Code. The ECB have published new General Conduct Regulations that have been adopted by the League to replace the existing Disciplinary Regulations – see General Conduct Regulations on the website rules and forms page. Clubs should also be aware of the provisions of the new ECB Anti-Discrimination Code.
Equity & Diversity survey. The YCSPL Equity and Diversity Group (E&DG) survey, launched last July, has been relaunched. This is to provide an up-to-date temperature check on current perspectives within our league, following recent events around racism across cricket in general. The Group are seeking responses from all our club members, players and officials, whether or not they have previously responded.
The purpose of the survey is to obtain views and experiences from everyone involved in our league, and to understand what positive interventions can be made to help the League become more diverse and inclusive. All information collected will be anonymous and confidential, but the key findings will be shared publicly, in order to inform what we do in the future.
We encourage everyone connected with our clubs to take a few minutes to complete the survey. The new closing date for completion is Monday 4 April. If anyone has any questions about it, please contact the Equity & Diversity Group.
Pre-season meeting. The meeting will be held next Thursday 24 March at the Phoenix Sports & Social Club, Pavilion Lane, Brinsworth, Rotherham S60 5PA, commencing at 7pm. Cricket Balls, handbooks and team cards will be available for collection from 5pm onwards. All clubs should attend.

If you have any information about your club that you would like to be included, in particular, facilities available at your ground(s) or information about your club in general, please send it to website manager.
