Here is this week’s round-up of information for YCSPL clubs.
Annual presentation dinner. Clubs are reminded that the first YCSPL Annual Awards Night will be held on Saturday 6 November in the Big Hall at the Magna Complex, Rotherham (6.45 for 7.15pm). The MC is Alex Fletcher and guest speaker is former professional footballer turned after-dinner speaker and comedian John Stiles. All places to be booked and paid for through your club’s Play-Cricket website by the closing date of 8 October.
ECB Cricket Playing Survey. The survey is currently live and running until Monday 27 September. We ask clubs to encourage all their officials, players and volunteers to have their say. To thank players for taking part they will be entered into a prize draw to win £100 Amazon Gift Vouchers. To take part, please click here.
Hall of Fame. The closing date for any nominations from clubs is 30 September. Please let Graham Swallow have any nomination from your club by then.
Individual award winners. Please see this link to a list of winners of divisional batting, bowling, wicket-keeping awards according to the statistics on the YCSPL Play-Cricket website. We ask clubs to check that these are correct as far as they are aware. Please notify any queries to website.administrator@ycspl.co.uk.

Fearnley Trophy for the scorer of the year
Harry May Rose Bowl for services to the YCSPL
Ben Jessop Junior Cup (outstanding junior all-rounder)
Dom Sayles Memorial Cup (outstanding junior batter)
Bernard Wragg Award (outstanding junior bowler)
William J. Pye Administration Trophy
Nominations for these awards should be forwarded to Graham Swallow by 27 September.
Nominations and proposals for the AGM. We remind clubs that any nominations for Board/Committee positions and proposals for rule changes should be sent to the LEB secretary, Graham Swallow, by 30 September. The AGM will take place on Monday 15 November 2021 at the Phoenix Sports & Social Club, Pavilion Lane, Brinsworth, Rotherham S60 5PA.
