Weekly clubs' bulletin no 16 - 12 August

Here is this week’s round-up of information for YCSPL clubs.
Cup update
Billy Oates Memorial Cup final. The final, between Whitley Hall 3rds and Wombwell Main, will take place at Middlecliffe Lane, Houghton Main CC, this coming Sunday – 12 noon start.
ExtraCover Insurance Whitworth Cup final – last Sunday’s final between Aston Hall and Sprotbrough at Wath CC had to be postponed due to the weather. The new date is Sunday 5 September (12 noon start).
National T20 Blast. Appleby Frodingham will take part in the area finals at Denby CC, Derbyshire this coming Sunday. They will play Cheshire PL t20 champions Alderley Edge in the semi-final (10am start). The second semi is Westhoughton CC (Bolton) against Barnard Castle CC (NY&SD); which will be followed by the two winners playing off for a place in the national final.
National T20 Plate. The Group final between Aston Hall and Notts & Arnold at Green Lane, which was postponed from 1 August, is to be played at Green Lane this coming Sunday (12 noon start).
Viking Cricket Yorkshire Leagues KO Cup. The first semi-final, between Treeton and Driffield, will take place at Washfield Lane this coming Sunday (12.30 start). The second semi-final, between Appleby Frodingham and Wakefield Thornes, will take place at Brumby Hall on 22 August.
