Last Sunday, in the Viking Cricket Cup, there were two ties, with mixed success for the YCSPL sides. At Abbeydale, Sheffield Collegiate enjoyed a comfortable 92-run win over Harrogate. Half-centuries from George Bartlett and Shaaiq Choudhry lifted the home side to 229-7, before they bowled out their visitors for 137, with three wickets each for Jamie Carrington and Matt Tyas. At Dark Lane, Cawthorne could manage ony 168 against 2018 winners Woodhouse Grange, despite 80 from Taruwar Kohli.
