Here is this week’s round-up of information for YCSPL clubs.

Cup and t20 update. Due to the disruption caused by the bad weather over the last three weekends, we thought that it might be useful to provide summary of the current state of play in our cup and t20 competitions.
Division 4 fixtures. Due to the fact that Adwick-le-Street 1st XI has unfortunately had to withdraw from Division 4, Matt Summerhill is rejigging some of the fixtures to minimise the number of additional blank Saturdays. The revised list will be published and circulated to clubs as soon as possible.
Juniors. Clubs are reminded of the requirements of Admin Rule 26, whereby players under 16 must be registered by being added to their Parent’s/Guardian’s own registered Play-Cricket account before the start of any game they play in. We recommend that this is done as soon as possible, to be prepared for the eventuality of their being selected to play in the YSCPL. Information about the sign-up process and a video for junior members can be downloaded here
YCB fees. The treasurer has invoiced all clubs for YCB affiliation fees, and we thank all the clubs who have paid promptly. May we remind any club that has not already done so, to make payment by 31 May 2021 please.
YCB update
Womens Big Cricket Month is back for a second year, aiming to give more women and girls the opportunity to play, follow or attend cricket in 2021. With June just over a week away, registrations are now open! ECB are encouraging every club that is planning an event or activity as part of Women’s Big Cricket Month to share the details of what they are doing here. This may be for an existing women's and/or girls' activity you already have planned for June, or a one-off event that is being organised to champion women’s and girls’ cricket. By registering, we will be able to provide you with all the marketing tools you’ll need to help make your activities and events as big as possible, and to feel a part of this game wide celebration – find out more.
Play-Cricket online tool. Whether you’re administrating at board level or a player out on the pitch, Play-Cricket is the only free online tool you need to manage the game and access all the latest scores and stats. It’s all completely free to use and with just one login you can record, share and track information in a simple, seamless way.
