There was a surprise result in Premier Division at Field Lane, where leaders Wakefield Thornes were beaten by Cawthorne. The hosts were put in to bat, never recovered from being 16-5, and were all out for 88. Cawthorne then eased their way to a seven-wicket win in the 22nd over. Sheffield Collegiate are now level with Thornes at the top of the table after beating Hallam at Abbeydale. Abdul Faseeh (94) led the hosts to 217-6, then the wickets were shared around when the visitors were bowled out for 168 in reply, Christian Leddicoat top-scoring with 60. Doncaster Town missed the chance to go top after being bowled out for 185 when they were put in to bat by Tickhill at the Brookfield Oval. Adam Copley took 7-38 for the hosts, helping reduce Town to 49-6, and only when Charlie Kaye (56) and Jak Hotchkiss (52) put on 84 for the seventh wicket did the visitors threaten to get on top. Tickhill were 109-5 in reply, but a quickfire 40 from Jordan Lowe swung the game Tickhill’s way, and they got home by three wickets with nine balls to spare. Cleethorpes are in fourth place, just eight points behind the leaders, after a convincing win over Barnsley Woolley Miners at Chichester Road. Bill Kirby made 67 out of the hosts’ 222-7, then Mayank Mishra took 4-31 when the visitors were all out for 97 in reply. Muhammad Qaisar Ashraf took 5-32 to help Whitley Hall bowl out struggling Shiregreen for 122 after putting them in to bat at Hatfield House Lane. The visitors then knocked off the required runs for the loss of six wickets in 37 overs. Kieran Lindley took 5-56 for Appleby Frodingham when they bowled Wickersley Old Village out for 163 at Northfield Lane, Manan Vohra top-scoring for the hosts with 53. Visiting skipper Alex Grimes (82 not out) then led his side to an eight-wicket victory in the 37th over, after sharing in an opening stand of 95 with Matt Morland. 
 
There are new leaders in the Championship Division, after Doncaster Town 2nds moved to the summit by beating overnight leaders Tickhill 2nds at Town Fields. Jack Woodiwiss (71) led the hosts to 179-7, then Warren Graca took 5-32 when the visitors were bowled out for 126 in reply. Sprotbrough moved up to second place with an emphatic win over Elsecar at Melton Road. Forties from Joe Toole and Lewis Hogg took the hosts to 200 all out, then wickets were shared as the visitors were bowled out for 72 in reply. Whiston Parish Church slipped to fourth place after being well beaten by local rivals Treeton at Church Fields. Mark Cummins (75) and Will Scott (67) put on 127 for the visitors’ second wicket, and they posted 223-6. Cummins then took three wickets as Whiston were bowled out for 100 in reply. Ackworth had the better of a high-scoring encounter at home to Oughtibridge War Memorial. George Gillespie (66) and Daniel Malyan-Walker (89) were in the runs when the hosts made an impressive 297-9, Will Cooper taking 4-54 for Oughtibridge. After the visitors were 61-4 in reply, Michael Brown (92) and Ikramullah Naseri (65) added 132 for the fifth wicket to put their side right back in the game, but in the end, Joshua Hen-Boisen swung the game Ackworth’s way with 4-48, and Oughtibridge were all out for 282. The tightest game of the day came at Green Lane, where an unbeaten 75 from Paul Cummins took Rockingham Colliery to 186-7 after they were put in to bat by Aston Hall. Gerard Coetzee (77) then took the hosts to 147-4, but after he was out, wickets started to fall, and Aston only got home by one wicket with one ball to spare. Matthew Tyas (4-29) took four early wickets for Sheffield Collegiate 2nds to reduce Wath to 46-5, after which they never fully recovered and were all out for 134. Jack Clough was unbeaten on 59 when Collegiate recorded an eight-wicket win in the 20th over. 
 
Upper Haugh won the battle of the top two in Division 1 by six wickets at Wentworth Road. Visitors Coal Aston recovered from 39-3 to reach 199-9, Lawrence Browes top-scoring with 39. Habil Arshad then made 65 to add to his three earlier wickets, adding 76 in a crucial partnership with Aadam Hassan (58 not out), and the hosts passed their target with 12 overs to spare. Conisbrough are third after coming out on top in a high-scoring encounter with Whitley Hall 2nds at Baxter Field. Joe Farmer (61) and Buddhika Bopitiyaga (81 off 50 balls) helped the visitors to 273 all out, Joe Chatterton taking 4-39 for Whitley. Bopitiyaga then took 6-40 when the hosts replied, and although at one stage they were 34-4, Sam Woodcock (64) engineered a recovery to 223 all out and four bonus points. Steven Honeyman (6-16) and Ashley Clayton (4-20) combined to bowl Darfield out for 36 at the Castle Ground, and Monk Bretton then completed a nine-wicket win in just nine overs. Callum Bailey’s 84 helped Barnsley Woolley Miners 2nds to 200-9 against Wickersley Old Village 2nds at Shaw Lane; Lewis Bray then took 5-36 and the visitors were all out for 133 in reply. Bottom club Penistone registered their first win of the season, away to Houghton Main. Noman Waheed top-scored in the hosts’ 186 all out, then Chris Walmsley, with an unbeaten 51 to add to his three first innings wickets, and Anthony Godley (52 not out) put together an unbeaten 112 sixth-wicket partnership to see their side home with seven overs to spare. 
 
Frickley Colliery are two points clear at the top of Division 2 after a convincing win over promotion challengers Parkhead at Ecclesall Road. Ollie Mitchell’s 68 boosted the visitors to 218 all out after they had been 110-5, then Matt Pinder took 6-22, his second successive six-wicket haul, to help bowl the hosts out for 135. Hallam 2nds move up a place to second after putting Sheffield United in to bat at Crimicar and bowling them out for 152, Neev Joshi taking 4-22; then an unbroken second-wicket stand of 148 between Richard Perkins (62 not out) and Jack Unwin (71 not out) took the hosts to a nine-wicket win in the 31st over. Safiullah Abrar made an unbeaten 100 in Wakefield Thornes 2nds’ 205-7 against Cawthorne 2nds at Dark Lane, after which the hosts were bowled out for 111 in reply, and Thornes move up to third in the table. Thorpe Hesley & High Green earned their first win of the season, over Norton Woodseats at Smithywood Road, after Ashley Reynolds (61 not out) lifted them from 182-8 to 258-9. Reynolds followed that up with 5-42 as Woodseats were bowled out for 237 in reply, despite the efforts of Hamzah Shah (79) and Blake Stocks (51). William Thom (53) and Thomas Moss (81 not out) helped Aston Hall 2nds to 228-8 against Elsecar 2nds at the Al-Murad Stadium, Richard Stump taking 4-56 for the hosts; then Lewis Meadows made 64 in Elsecar’s reply, but Abdul Jamil took 6-41 and they were all out for 196. Millhouses Works restricted Oughtibridge War Memorial 2nds to 151-8 at Waterside Gardens, then an unbeaten 94 from Kieren O’Sullivan took the visitors to a five-wicket win in 26 overs. 
 
Hatfield Town strengthened their position at the top of Division 3 by beating Frecheville Community at the Hobson Bowl. Joseph Dixon made 53 in their 165-9, and then Alex Pepper took 5-50 as the hosts were bowled out for 153 in reply. Rockingham Colliery 2nds kept in touch with the leaders by taking revenge for their President’s Cup defeat to Sheffield Collegiate 3rds at Hoyland Common. Ben Shore took 4-17 when the visitors replied to the Colliery’s modest 142-7, and they were all out for 99. Norton Oakes maintained their challenge after Josh Cross’s 4-20 helped them bowl Treeton 2nds out for 126 at Washfield Lane. Cross was then unbeaten on 57 when the visitors cruised to a seven-wicket win in the 38th over. James Barnard (110) and Jack Moran (51 not out) were amongst the runs in Wath 2nds’ 227-8 against Bradfield Village Fellowship at the Sands. Josh Burrows (4-25) and Luke Roddison (4-12) then combined to bowl the hosts out for 110 in reply. Higham were all out for 204 after being put in to bat by Shiregreen 2nds at Royd Lane. Opener Naeem Bashir then made 82 to set up a six-wicket win for the visitors. Opener Callum Bentley (53) and Tahir Choudhary (100 off 80 balls) helped Worsbrough Bridge to 249-7 against Sheffield Caribbean at Park Lane; then Liam Hague took 4-34 as the visitors were bowled out for 122 in reply. 
 
Sprotbrough 2nds have an 18-point lead at the top of Division 4 after beating Wombwell Main at the I-Source Stadium. Tom Kaye made 57 out of the visitors’ 168 all out, Scott Aranyi taking 4-46 for the hosts; then Will Rudkin took 4-48 to help bowl Wombwell out for 108 in reply, despite the efforts of Jonathan Scaife (57). Barnsley Woolley Miners 3rds moved up a place to second after a narrow win over Sheffield University Staff at Warminster Road. Benjamin Bentley (64 not out) helped the visitors recover from 17-5 to reach 148-7; then wickets were shared around as the hosts were bowled out five runs short in reply. Thorncliffe & Wentworth lost ground when they were well beaten by Sheffield Collegiate 4ths at Abbeydale. Soham Gate carried his bat for an unbeaten 41 in the visitors’ 84 all out; then the hosts lost two wickets in reaching their target in the 28th over. Stocksbridge returned to winning ways by beating Doncaster Town 3rds at Bracken Moor. Jack Murfin (60) and James Tevendale (56) helped the hosts to 218-7, whilst Joe Woodiwiss took four wickets for the visitors. Oscar Jones (53) and Alfie Pierson (80) then got Town off to a great start with an opening stand of 119, but, Finley Truman’s 47 excepted, the innings rather fell away after that, and they were all out for 202. Tom Trower’s 63 was the highlight of Coal Aston 2nds’ 183 all out against Upper Haugh 2nds at Stonelow, whilst Andrew Lintin took 4-31 for the hosts. Elliot Tye then took 4-54 when Upper Haugh replied, and they were all out for 175. Suthaharan Nadesapillai (6-32) and Andrew Wood (4-12) bowled Kexborough to victory over Barnby Dun at Bence Lane, where the visitors were all out for 121 in reply to the home side’s 159-9. 
 
Ackworth 2nds and Whiston Forge are new joint-leaders of Division 5, following Ackworth’s win over previous leaders Warmsworth 2nds and Forge’s win away to Hatfield Town 2nds. Keelan Booth (67) and Sam Swindin (53) gave Ackworth a fine start with an opening stand of 113 at Common Lane. After that, Jay Horne took 5-51, but the visitors still posted a healthy 236-9. Arran Taylor took 4-25 when the hosts replied and they slumped to 24-7 before Tom Machin made 50 and they were all out for 137. Whiston Forge made 177-8 at Carr Side Lane, then Matthew Beevers took 4-34 when Hatfield were all out for 146 in reply. Skipper Phillip Fletcher (50) top-scored in Maltby Miners Welfare’s 196 all out against Conisbrough 2nds, for whom Tom Humphries took 4-40. Liam Woodward then took 6-29 when Conisbrough were bowled out for 64 in reply. There was a tie at Pinfold Lane, where both teams were all out for 128 in exactly 41.1 overs. Owen Struggles took 4-36 and Fida Hussain 4-30 when Fishlake batted, then the wickets were shared around in the Whiston Parish Church 2nds’ innings. Silkstone United made 121-9 against Penistone 2nds at Queen Street, and the hosts then completed a six-wicket win in the 34th over. 
 
In Division 6, leaders Waverley are eight points clear at the top after beating Wadworth at Totley. Vishnu Ajith made 49 of the hosts’ 150, and Mark Limb took 4-37 for the visitors, but when Wadworth replied, they were all out for 63, Jerin Varghese taking 6-11. Second-placed Thorpe Hesley & High Green 2nds kept pace with Waverley by beating bottom side Darfield 2nds at School Lane. Skipper James Proctor (61) led his side to 159 all out, then Thomas Arnold took 5-25 when the hosts were all out for 120 in reply, despite 61 from Campbell Wroe. A further four points behind are Green Moor, for whom Satinderpal Singh (54) and Satvir Singh (70) were in the runs in their 206-6 at home to Mexborough Athletic, who were all out for 150 in reply. Jack Roper (85) led the way for fourth-placed Millhouses Works 2nds in their 202-8 at home to Whitley Hall 3rds, and Rabnawaz Khan took 4-28 when the visitors were all out for 95 in reply. Opener Ian Couldwell was unbeaten on 75 when Scholes & Harley posted 195-6 against Wickersley Old Village 3rds at Brookhouse, and the hosts were restricted to 183-7 in reply. Sheffield Caribbean 2nds made 177-7 against Handsworth Junior SC at the Common, then bowled out their visitors for 126 in reply. 
 
Adwick-le-Street are now clear leaders in Division 7. Nick Bisby contributed 96 to their 212-7 against Bradfield Village Fellowship 2nds, who were all out for 133 in reply. Upper Haugh 3rds are now ten points behind the leaders after losing by 48 runs to Handsworth Junior SC 2nds. Third-placed Parkhead 2nds also lost, by 24 runs, chasing 156-4 away to Rockingham Colliery 3rds, for whom there were four wickets apiece for James Peet and Noah Shore, whilst Kai Ellison made 63 for the visitors. Dom Gentlesmith made 52 out of Stocksbridge 2nds’ 135 all out, after which they bowled Doncaster Town 4ths out for 97. Adam Bryant took 5-30 for Brookhouse when they bowled Sheffield United 2nds out for 146 at Bawtry Road, but the visitors were then all out for 137 in reply. Keanan Pretorious took 4-19 for Barnsley Woolley Miners 4ths against Higham 2nds when they made 125-9 at Woolley; when the hosts replied Joseph Green took 6-32 to reduce them to 76-8, but then Isaac Wilkes and Harveer Batth put on an unbroken 54-run ninth-wicket stand to lead them to a two-wicket win. 
 
In the top game in Division 8, Jhangir Ahmed took 4-32 for Norton Woodseats 2nds when they bowled Monk Bretton 2nds out for 131 at Matthews Lane, then William Sammons (47) and Sijo Joseph (51) put on an opening stand of 101 to set up an eight-wicket win, that enabled them to leapfrog their opponents to the top of the table. Shokoor Ahmadzai made 78 in Houghton Main 2nds’ 209 against Norton Oakes 2nds at Oakes Park, and then took 4-21 when the hosts were bowled out for 130 in reply, Shir Ali Ahmadzai chipping in with 4-22. Mrinmoy Borgohain took 4-17 for Eden Grove Parklands when they bowled Thorncliffe & Wentworth 2nds out for 152 at Lound Side, and then the visitors edged their way to a one-wicket win with four balls left. Wombwell Main 2nds made 151-8 against Sprotbrough 3rds at Bullcroft, Elliot Mann contributing 52, then Taylor Holden took 4-49 when the hosts were bowled out for 139 in reply. Christopher Jarvis (90) and Jas Singh (70) put on 164 for Hallam 4ths’ first wicket in their 219-3 against Dearne at Furlong Road, and the hosts were bowled out for 148 in reply. Kexborough 2nds bowled Barnby Dun 2nds out for 121 at Glass Park, then reached their target with four wickets and 13 overs to spare. 
 
Mark Nurse took 5-22 for Division 9 leaders Frickley Colliery 2nds when they bowled Wath 3rds out for 88, then Akash Rawal made an unbeaten 49 as the leaders passed their target for the loss of one wicket in ten overs. Worsbrough Bridge 2nds are only eight points behind the leaders, but they had to work much harder to beat bottom side Eden Grove Parklands 2nds. Anthony Shenton took 4-18 as Bridge were bowled out for 122, then Clayton Taylor took 4-31 to help them bowl Eden Grove out for 111. Molly Whitaker took 5-20 for Elsecar 3rds, who bowled Silkstone United 2nds out for 65, and they then completed a nine-wicket win. Belgin Thomas hit an unbeaten 100 off 40 balls, with eight 4s and eleven 6s, including six in one over, for Waverley 2nds in their 336-6 against Whiston Forge 2nds, who were all out for 88 in reply. Benjamin Kidner (73) led the way for Sheffield University Staff 2nds, who made 198-7 against Mexborough Athletic 2nds, then Beatrice Tootill took 4-14 when Athletic were all out for 63 in reply. Lee Ford took 7-12 for Frecheville Community 2nds, who bowled Scholes & Harley 2nds out for 87; but Frecheville struggled in their reply, passing their target with just one wicket left. Billy Haigh took 4-39 for Oughtibridge War Memorial 3rds when they restricted Fishlake 2nds to 159-9; then Denis Smith was unbeaten on 88 when Oughtibridge completed a six-wicket win. 
 
 
On Sunday, in the K3 Dental Cup, Cleethorpes made 173 against Doncaster Town at Town Fields, and Taylor Fell was unbeaten on 54 when the weather ended proceedings and the hosts, on 159-5, were declared DLS winners. Dylan Hurst made 60 off 39 balls when Wakefield Thornes made 207-9 in a 30-over game away to Knaresborough, and Brad Green took 4-13 when the hosts were bowled out for 104 in reply. Cawthorne bowled Shiregreen out for 139 at Hatfield House Lane and were 67-2 and won on DLS when rain ended play. Sheffield Collegiate made 212-5 at York but lost by six wickets with four balls to spare, and Barnsley Woolley Miners lost by 93 runs to Clifton Alliance
 
In the Mick Savage Trophy, Jamie Taylor made 84 in Aston Hall 2nds’ 194-5 against Monk Bretton, who were 108-9 in reply. Dave Rodgers hit an unbeaten 114 in Coal Aston’s 258-4 against Cawthorne 2nds, who were all out for 133 in reply. Nathan Chadburn took 4-22 when Conisbrough bowled Wakefield Thornes 2nds out for 152, and Mathew Lowe was unbeaten on 64 when Conisbrough won by six wickets on DLS. Callum Johnson (64) top-scored for Elsecar 2nds in their 155-8 at home to Penistone, but the visitors went on to win by seven wickets. Tom Burford was unbeaten on 72 in Hallam 2nds’ 169-7 against Upper Haugh, who recorded an eight-wicket DLS win when 111-2 in the 18th over. Andrew Haywood made 55 out of Warmsworth’s 200-8 at home to Norton Woodseats, and they then bowled their visitors out for 71 in reply. Jonathan Allen took 5-30 for Wickersley Old Village 2nds when they bowled Thorpe Hesley & High Green out for 171, Rasheed Eddy making 59; then Subhaan Hussain was unbeaten on 85 in Wickersley’s seven-wicket win.
