Clubs' bulletin no 2 of 2025 - 1 February

Cricket balls for 2025 – action required

Clubs are asked to order their balls for 2025 within the next seven days, in order to ensure delivery at the Pre-Season meeting. Balls are sold in boxes of six – please state how many boxes are required.

A reminder of the balls to be used:

In the Premier Section, the Oxbridge Windsor ball will be used; in Divisions 1 & 2, the Reader Sovereign ball will be used; and in Divisions 3 to 9, either the Reader Sovereign or League Special ball will be used.
Pink balls for the K3 Dental Cup, Whitworth Cup and T20 tournaments will be purchased by the League, distributed and billed for by the League according to usage.
In the Mick Savage Trophy, the Reader Sovereign ball will be used; and in the President’s and Billy Oates Cups, either the Reader Sovereign or League Special ball will be used.

Clubs should go online to order their balls at:

• Oxbridge balls – https://bit.ly/48uROzB (passcode 815743)

Clubs will be invoiced directly by the suppliers, but the balls will be delivered to the League for distribution at the Pre-Season Meeting on Wednesday 9 April, in the usual way, so clubs can ignore the ‘delivery address’ field when ordering.

These include specific actions for clubs in the Premier and Championship Divisions, and for those in Division 1 with ambitions to be promoted to the Premier Section. We will summarise these specific club requirements over the next few days, and issue them directly to clubs in these divisions.
