Clubs' bulletin no 17 of 2025 - 18 December 

 

 

Clubs are reminded that the 2026 ball-ordering process is unchanged from last year. They should go online to order their balls at:

Clubs will be invoiced directly by the suppliers, but the balls will be delivered to the League for distribution at the Pre-Season Meeting on Wednesday 8 April 2026, in the usual way, so clubs can ignore the ‘delivery address’ field when ordering. 

 

 

The YCSPL structure for divisions 7 to 9 has now been finalised. The clubs in Divisions 7 to 9 voted for regionalisation with 24 votes to 17, with 6 abstentions. Please see Full final 2026 league structure.  

 

We have had a number of enquiries about the provisional fixture list. As explained at the AGM, these have been delayed due to circumstances outside the League's control, but we still aim to have these with clubs before Christmas. As soon as they are available, we will publish on the website and notify all clubs immediately.  

 

 

The entries into all YCSPL cup competition entries have now been finalised. Please see Summary of cup entries & schedule. 

 

 

The ECB has published updated Disparity Regulations, Safety Regulations and Safety Guidance for 2026 - these have now been posted on our website. 

 

 

Four PCS Pro scoring courses have been arranged, at: 

 

Kirk Balk School, Barnsley S74 9HX – Wednesday 18 February – 6pm to 9pm 

Millhouses Works CC, Sheffield S7 2QL – Saturday 17 January – 10am - 1pm 

Millhouses Works CC, Sheffield S7 2QL – Monday 19 January – 6pm to 9pm 

Warmsworth CC, Doncaster DN4 9JY – Saturday 14 February – 12noon - 4pm

A reminder that the ECB Umpire course for new umpires will take place at the S20 Boundary Indoor Cricket Centre, 1 Longacre Close, Sheffield, S20 3FR or Saturday 3 January 2026 – 9:30am to 4pm. For more information and to book a place, please click here.
