Parking will be limited to the main car park, which is chargeable, or on Abbeydale Road, if there is space. It is planned that the new pavilion will be open by the end of May 2022.
About us - MWCC was formed in 2009 after the merger of Sheffield Works Department and Millhouses CC (formed in 1860). We host two YCSPL teams, a Sunday Friendly XI, a Women’s team and seven junior teams. We are also an ECB All Stars and Dynamos Centre. Millhouses Works joined the SYSCL in 2012 from the Yorkshire and Derbyshire League, having won the championship of that league five times in all.
After many years of fundraising and hard work, the club eagerly look forward to the opening of their new pavilion this season.

About us - Sheffield United CC was formed in 1854, when several Sheffield cricket clubs were brought together under that name, the first use of ‘United’ in the name of a sports club in the UK. A new ground was built for the club at Bramall Lane, originally shared with Sheffield FC, then Sheffield Wednesday, before the club established Sheffield United FC in 1889. The cricket club was a founder member of the old Yorkshire League in 1933, leaving Bramall Lane to move to Bawtry Road in 1973. More recently the ground was purchased and developed by Sheffield Hallam University. SUCC has three Saturday teams in the YCSPL as well as a strong junior section.
